The Gilgit-Baltistan Service Tribunal Skardu Registry was formally inaugurated on July 26, 2024, marking a significant milestone in bringing justice closer to the people of the Gilgit-Baltistan region. This establishment signifies the culmination of tireless efforts by Chairman Gilgit-Baltistan Service Tribunal, Mr. Mumtaz Ahmed, with the unwavering support of the government and the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah.

Previously, civil servants in the Skardu region faced the challenge of traveling long distances to seek justice. The Skardu Registry now provides them with a convenient and accessible venue, ensuring they can receive fair and timely resolution within their own community.
