Mr. Ali Sher (Tst) DIG (R) has joined his duty on October 30, 2017. As Member – II Gilgit-Baltistan Service Tribunal. He has joined GB Police on Nov 19, 1973 and after attaining the age of superannuation retired from service on May 06, 2014 as DIG BPS-20.

During his span of career, he held the charge of DIG Gilgit region with additional charge of Diamer and Astore region. Before reaching the rank of DIG, the Officer has held the charge of AIG CID, SSP Diamer, SSP Gilgit and Deputy Director FIA Gilgit.

The officer has visited Europe (Italy) in connection with management course, in the year 2006 and also member of high level delegation to China more than once representing GB Police as well as the Federal Government.
